The All New 2025 Clipacore Fluemate Pro is now out with a completely new design.
Many engineers would have experienced a frequent problem faced on-site when replacing a boiler; The Aluminium flue ducts jammed tight in the wall and then needs hammering out. Fluemate Pro is designed for precise and controlled drilling and upgrading a flue diameter during flue installations.
Fit the DuoCut Pro onto the 94mm barrel guide using a Core Adaptor. Then, insert the A-Taper side of the adaptor, just as you would a Guide Pin or Pilot Drill, into a larger core bit, ensuring precise alignment.
The Clipacore Fluemate Pro is made from high-quality Cr40 Chrome Steel, which offers high strength, excellent hardness and toughness, as well as good wear resistance, providing exceptional shear strength. It is specially heat-treated for enhanced durability.
Benefits of Fluemate
- It can be used safely when working at height.
- Scars the wall symmetrical to the existing flue pipe and avoids skidding off course
- It can be used with a variety of commonly used core bits.
- Spring-loaded barrel for fast removal once the wall is scarred.
- Great for protecting the asset owner's property with a duty of care.
What's in the box:
1x DuoCut Adaptor Pro
1x Clipacore Core Adaptor
1x 94mm Barrell Guide
1x Quick Release Clip
How Fluemate Pro works:
- Remove the inner 2” plastic flue pipe from the 4” aluminium flue pipe
- Check that the barrel guide fits inside the redundant flue pipe
- Fit a Core Adaptor to the barrel guide like you would a normal core bit
- Mount the barrel guide onto the Duocut Pro, essentially converting it into a guide pin
- Fit a Core Adaptor to a 117mm core bit or greater
- Insert the A-Taper side of the adaptor into your core bit
- Give the barrel guide a tap to ensure the A-Taper has a secure fit in the adaptor
- Select and fit an appropriate Drill Adaptor (Sold Separately) depending on the spindle thread size or if it is an SDS or HEX Chuck
- Clip the Core Adaptor to the Drill Adaptor on the drill
- Insert the barrel guide into the flue pipe
- Before drilling, check that the drill handle is correctly positioned and firmly tightened
- Adopt a comfortable and safe footing
- Commence drilling until the outer core bit has scarred the wall approximately 25mm deep
- Remove the drill from the flue pipe
- Remove the Clipacore Duocut Adaptor Pro and barrel guide using a drift key
- Continue drilling a new hole until through
- Carefully remove the debris from the core bit, ensuring you don’t damage the core bit
